Childrens Programs
Every library in the Shasta Public Libraries system holds monthly programs for kids and their families. Burney Library, Anderson Library, and Redding Library take part in an annual summer reading program as well as the annual Week of the Young Child event. We also have weekly and monthly activities at each library branch as well. All activities and programs are FREE to the public, so stop in and participate in the next library program at a location near you!

Children and teens can complete activities to win fun prizes and books, all while learning about the different materials and services the Redding Library has to offer. Stop by the Children’s Desk during open hours to pick up your scavenger hunt throughout the entire month.
